Samosa Chat Recipe, a popular Indian street food artfully combines the crispy allure of samosas with a riot of flavours. Ingredients :

  • 1 cup chickpeas boiled
  • 1 cup boiled and smashed potatoes
  • 1/2 cup chopped oninons
  • 1/2 cup chopped tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped green chilles
  • 1/4 cup chopped corainder leaves
  • 1/2 cup curd/yogurt
  • mint chutney and tamrind chutney
  • chaat masala
  • Roasted jeera/cumin powder
  • Red chili powder
  • salt to taste
Instructions:
1. Fry the samosas

Heat oil in the pan for frying. Fry the Samosas until they are golden and crispy. once done. set them aside on a paper towel to drain excess oil.

2. Assemble the chat

a. In a bowl, take the boiled chickpeas and boiled potatoes.
b. Add chopped onions, tomatoes, green chilies (if using), and coriander leaves.
c. Drizzle some tamarind chutney and mint chutney over the mixture, and salt according to the taste.

3. Serve:

a. Place a fried samosa on the plate.
b. spoon the prepared chat mixtures over the samosa.
c. Add some plain yogurt on top.
D. Drizzle more tamarind chutney and mint chutney.
E. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
